There are very few things we love more than our Prestige dance parents! They are the people who make it ALL possible here at the studio. From driving your dancers to the studio each week, cheering them on at competitions, and investing year after year in your child’s passions, NONE of it goes unnoticed. 

When it comes to signing your child up for an extracurricular activity, we know it can be a hassle. That’s why WE make becoming a Prestige parent a walk in the park! Our quick registration process and easy-to-navigate website are only SOME of the reasons why we are one of the best kids activities in Cedar Rapids!

Becoming a Prestige Parent is as Easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Browse our Current Class Schedule to Find the Perfect Class

Have a specific day that works best for you? Multiple kids with different ages? We’ve got you covered. We categorize our class schedule both by day AND by age, making it easy to find whatever you need most!

2. Visit our Parent Portal to Select Your Class! 

Take care of your enrollment all virtually with our online portal! If you’re enrolling more than one child, the “add another student” button comes in handy, so you won’t have to repeat the process.

If you’re new to the Prestige family, you’ll be asked to make an account by filling out a quick form. It will just take a few minutes!

3. Smile! It’s time to experience excellence! 

Easy as that, you’re ready for class! We are certain that our amazing classes will bring smiles to your whole family. Our team can’t wait to meet your dancer!

We are busy gearing up for another GREAT year of dance here at Prestige Dance Studio. Registration is open (and filling quick!) for the 2019/ 2020 school year session of dance classes. Even though it is only June, NOW is the time we encourage families to think about their plans for next year and reserve their child’s spot in a class.

Today, we wanted to break down our simple registration process. We do our best to keep things easy for families! Read on to learn how your family can spend the 2019/2020 school year at Prestige Dance Studio. We’d love to have you join us!

How to register for a dance class at Prestige Dance Studio:

  1. Review the dance class schedule. Read through the schedule and get a feel for the types of classes we offer. If you need a little bit more information about our classes, be sure to read through our class descriptions. Start talking to your child about which class (or classes!) they might be interested in. Looking through our gallery is a great way to give your child a visual of the different dance styles!
  2. Attend an Open House Event. We have several open house events planned over the summer. Attending an Open House event is a great way to see the studio, meet some of our teachers, and get a feel for our program. If you are ready to register, one of our helpful staff members can handle your registration in person. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered and make sure your child has everything they need for class! Upcoming Open House Dates: June 25, July 24, and August 5
  3. Schedule a Trial Week. Need a little bit more help choosing a class? We understand! A trial class can be a great way to make sure your child LOVES dance and make sure our studio is a good fit for your family. We offer one week unlimited dance for $10 to families mid-June through November. Try a class (or several!) before committing. Sign up for your trial week HERE. One of our staff members will be in touch to help you find the best classes for your child!
  4. Time to enroll! Once you have chosen the best class for you child and picked a time that works for your family, it’s time to enroll! Registration is simple via our parent portal. You will be prompted to create an account if you are a new family to Prestige Dance Studio. If you run into trouble, we are happy to help!

After you enroll, it’s time to get excited! We LOVE welcoming families to Prestige Dance Studio. When you enroll in a dance class at Prestige, you are getting SO much more than just dance classes. We take pride in our commitment to not only creating beautiful dancers, but to shaping future leaders and strong people!

How To Share Your Love Of Dance With Friends

Share dance with friends! Free trial classes for cedar rapids dancers! Our Prestige dancers are SERIOUSLY passionate and that is one of the things we love most about our dance family. For a lot of dancers, it may start to feel like you have a whole secret life at the studio that your non-dance friends know nothing about. We want that to change! Doing something you love is great but it is an even better feeling to be able to share it with the people who are closest to you. That’s why we wanted to give out some excellent ideas to help your children share their love of dance with friends.

  1. Have a dance-themed sleepover. Get out the old dance costumes, pull out the dusty disco ball, and get ready to boogie! Your dancer can make a special playlist with all their favorite songs and help you clear a “dance floor” in the living room.  Your children’s friends will have a BLAST dressing up and dancing the night away together. Oh and don’t forget to have snacks and refreshments ready because your little dancers will need to refuel frequently hehe!
  2. Make up a dance together. Instead of playing that video game, make up a dance instead! There will be COUNTLESS laughs and giggles coming from the dance room for hours, it’s a guarantee. They may even put on a show for the parents later if you are lucky!
  3. Watch a dance-themed movie or musical. This may give friends a little perspective into what your dancer goes through at the studio. I mean really, who doesn’t like a musical?!
  4. Invite them to a performance. Friends will get a front-row view into what it means to be a dancer. They will sit in awe watching the result of all the hard work your dancer put in. It also feels GREAT as a dancer to step into the auditorium knowing you have your “crew” there to support you!
  5. Invite them to try a class at Prestige. If your non-dance friend is interested in learning more, what a better way to show them what it’s like than having them TRY it! Of course, we recommend having them try a class that matches their ability level. That may not always be the same class that your dancer is currently enrolled in. Our trial classes are FREE and we are still accepting enrollment in most of our classes up until October 31st.

Fall Open House Dates

We are now accepting enrollment for our Fall session of classes. Interested in learning more? Attend an open house to see the studio, meet the director, and have your questions answered! We will also be booking half-price birthday parties and doing show fittings. We look forward to seeing you soon.
