Miss Emily is a dance educator and choreographer from Center Point. Originally from Cedar Rapids, her training began at the age of 3. She danced competitively for a local studio and was a member of the nationally ranked Xavier High School Dance Team. She was awarded as an UDA All-American and was asked to be a UDA staff member. As a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, she had the opportunity to compete as a member of the dance team, earning 5th place nationally, and

performed artistically within the dance company, Orchesis. After graduating from UNI, she began coaching dance and gymnastics, certified through USAG and USTA. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity presented to her to work with national and Olympic level gymnasts. Miss Emily is very passionate about competitive dance as a coach, judge and dance mom.  She has been blessed to coach at both the high school and collegiate levels, and has taught at a variety of local dance studios around the Midwest. She has been honored with choreographing winning routines for both high school and collegiate teams across Iowa. In her time as an instructor for local studios, she has held many titles including Director of Recreational Dance programs and Artistic Director. She is currently the head coach of the Center Point-Urbana High School Dance Team. Miss Emily is thrilled to be a member of the PDS family.

Miss Holli has been dancing for over 32 years, and feels honored to have the opportunity to continue displaying her passion for this art. She began her dance career in a small town in Illinois, and her passion was formed by her mother’s love of dance and music and her father’s love of creating music. Besides training in all genres of dance, Miss Holli has performed in talent shows, cheer/dance teams in middle school, competed and performed with her high school dance team and then went on to compete for Western Illinois University's Wrangler Dance. Her senior year of high school, she was selected to travel to London, England to perform in the Westminster Abby’s New Year’s Day Parade and then went on to Western Illinois University’s Wrangler Dance Line Collegiate Team.  Miss Holli has also coached cheerleading and dance teams. Miss Holli was a choreographer, dance teacher and an elementary school teacher in southeastern Iowa before moving to Center Point in 2021. She recently attended the Dance Teacher Web Conference in Las Vegas with Prestige staff and is very eager to implement her newly acquired training. She has also received training with Dupree, NYLA, KAR, and Hollywood Vibe. When not dancing, Miss Holli loves spending time with her two dancing daughters, Sophie and Marley, and her husband, Craig.

Miss Heather grew up dancing in Cedar Rapids. She fell in love with dance at age 4 and began competing at 9 years old. She was a member of the Jefferson Varsity Dance Team for 4 years, where she helped lead the team to 2 state championships, and earned 1st place at the ISDTA State Solo Championship her senior year. After high school, Heather attended The Ann Lacey School of Dance and Arts Management at Oklahoma City University, receiving her BPA in Dance Performance. After graduating from OCU, she moved to New York, where she enjoyed teaching, attending auditions and taking classes at BDC, Steps On Broadway and Peridance. Miss Heather returned to Cedar Rapids in 2014, and began teaching full-time and choreographing competition pieces. Her choreography has received “Best Choreography” and high point awards at various competitions throughout the Midwest. Miss Heather’s desire to play an active role in the dance community inspired her to create her business, Clark Concepts, and work as a freelance choreographer/dance educator. As an educator she strives to provide an inclusive environment, giving students the opportunity to inspire and motivate each other to create the best version of themselves on and off the dance floor. Miss Heather is excited to join the Prestige Family and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and love for dance with all of the PDS dancers!

Miss Alexis first tried gymnastics when she was three years old. At the time, she didn’t think it was for her. She took a break to try every other sport in the book; including karate; and realized gymnastics was her true passion. She started back up at gymnastics when she was seven and it consumed her whole life until she made the tough decision to quit at the age of 14. She missed being in the gym so much that she decided to start coaching one month later. She coached gymnastics for 11 years before taking a break to focus on her career in healthcare. While coaching, she had the privilege of doing private lessons with some Prestige dancers to work on their tumbling skills. After a couple years, Miss Alexis was offered a job at Prestige to continue improving dancers’ tumbling. She is the true definition of a crazy dog mom. Miss Alexis and her husband have four huskies that are totally spoiled. Miss Alexis can’t wait for her first real year of coaching at Prestige!

Miss Reegan started dancing at the age of 3, and came to Prestige at the age of 8. She loves contemporary and jazz. This is her first year working at Prestige and she is loving teaching all the littles!! Make sureyou say hi to her as you see her around the studio.

Miss Aubrey has been dancing since she was 2 training in all genres. She danced competitively from age 5 until graduation. She has been training under Miss Jess at PDS since 2019, and she decided she wanted to start teaching here in 2023. Miss Aubrey graduated high school in 2024 from Kennedy High School where she was also on the dance team for four years. Her favorite dance styles are jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Miss Aubrey is still currently training in dance and trying to grow her personal dance knowledge more and more everyday. She is so excited to share all things dance with your kids.

Mr. Jack has been dancing since he was 7 years old. He began dancing competitively at a studio at the age of 10, where he received numerous platinum and high point awards. Mr. Jack graduated from Xavier High School where he was involved in the show choir program, including three years in the varsity show choir, “Xhilaration”.

Mr. Jack went on to attend the University of Iowa, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2025. During his time at the University of Iowa, he had the privilege of performing in several Department of Dance productions. He was also a member of the university’s touring dance company and performed at the ACDA Regional Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2023.

Outside of teaching at Prestige, Mr. Jack works as a choreographer and clinician for various show choir programs. He is very passionate about creating an environment at the studio where students can grow, challenge themselves, and develop a lasting love for dance!

Miss Brittany has visited all 50 states, is an avid collector of snow globes, and loves chai tea!  During the day, Miss Brittany is the Clinical Therapy Director at UIHC in the Department of Psychiatry and provides mental health therapy to clients, which she is passionate about.  Miss Brittany is also very passionate about expression through dance, and is so excited to share this love with the Prestige family! She started dancing at age 2 ½ in the suburbs of Chicago and continued through high school, including competition teams in Jazz and Tap, making it to Nationals in NYC.  In high school, she also danced on her high school pom team all 4 years.  After graduation, Miss Brittany went on to Loras College in Dubuque, where she majored in Social Work and minored in International Studies, even spending a semester studying abroad in India!  At Loras, she was on her college’s dance team, which placed 5^th in state.  She also met her now husband, Matt, while at Loras.  After college, she went on to graduate school at UW-Madison to get a Master’s in Social Work, where she took a short break from dance. When Miss Brittany moved to Cedar Rapids, she was able to find adult classes in town at a studio called Prestige Dance Studio where she danced at several recitals! Miss Brittany took adult dance classes at Prestige for a few years, and eventually spent a year as a substitute teacher here.  Miss Brittany then had an opportunity to teach regular classes at a studio where she taught tap, lyrical, and coached a competitive mini team.  Miss Brittany is so excited to be starting her 3rd year at Prestige as a staff teacher--this feels like her dance home! Brittany lives with her husband Matt and their pet bird Echo (who is 5).  In her free time, Miss Brittany loves reading and crafting, and spending time with her 6 nieces and nephews! Miss Brittany has danced in all styles, and loves their versatility.  Miss Brittany especially loves jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and focusing on having a strong foundation for them all.

Miss Nicole has loved the arts her entire life, beginning her dance journey at the age of three at a small studio in southern Maryland. Her passion for dance quickly grew, and she expanded her training with prestigious programs such as Alabama Youth Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, American Ballet Theatre, Cincinnati Ballet, and Burklyn Ballet Theatre. Over the years, she has trained in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and international ballroom.

Miss Nicole has performed in many classical and contemporary works including Swan Lake, La Bayadere, W.C. Handy’s Legacy of Dance, and numerous productions of The Nutcracker. She has also appeared in several musical theatre productions such as Hairspray, The Music Man, and The Wizard of Oz.

Miss Nicole loves sharing her passion for dance in the classroom. She has taught ballet, pointe, contemporary, conditioning, and more to dancers of all ages across the country. She brings a whole-body, anatomy-informed approach to her teaching and believes in helping dancers understand how movement works within their own unique bodies. She has choreographed and produced full-length ballets, contemporary works, and several Nutcracker productions in states including Maryland, Alabama, and Iowa.

Miss Nicole holds a BA in Dance and Philosophy from the University of Iowa, where she danced with the University’s touring company, UIDC, for two years. She is a certified instructor in Discover Dance, Sugar Foot Therapy, Progressing Ballet Technique, and has been a certified FLX Conditioning Specialist since 2016. She is also a certified yoga instructor and an ABT Certified Teacher, having completed the ABT National Training Curriculum through Level 3.

Miss Nicole is so excited to bring her love of movement and dance to the PDS family!

Miss Lorissa began dancing at the age of three and has been passionate about movement and performance ever since. Growing up, she trained in a wide range of styles through various programs and began competing in middle school. During high school, she was a member of Linn-Mar Varsity Poms, where she helped lead the team to a record-breaking 2nd place finish at UDA Nationals (an accomplishment that set both school and state records).

After high school, Miss Lorissa continued dancing as a member of Iowa State University’s Hip-Hop Club, DubH. Her love for hip-hop eventually led her to join Rebel City, a Des Moines-based performance crew, where she danced at community events and alongside local artists.

Miss Lorissa is passionate about creating a welcoming and empowering environment for her students. She enjoys working with young dancers to help them grow in confidence, expression, and teamwork. She also loves working with dance teams, helping them refine routines and build a strong foundation for success both on and off the stage.

In addition to her work in the studio, Miss Lorissa is currently finishing her cosmetology license and enjoys exploring all aspects of the arts. She is also the proud mom of a young dancer who shares her love of movement and is a fellow Prestigian!

Miss Lorissa is thrilled to be part of the PDS family and looks forward to continuing to inspire dancers through her energy, creativity, and love for the art of dance.

I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and started competing at age six. Over the years I’ve trained in jazz, tap, hip hop, tumbling, musical theater, ballet, lyrical, and pom, which has given me a strong and versatile foundation in dance. I love helping dancers build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover their own love for movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Miss Trista started dancing at just three years old and continued throughout college, growing her passion for dance along the way. She has been part of the studio family since it first opened, took a short year away, and is thrilled to be back in the classroom.

Trained in multiple styles, tap remains her favorite and something she loves sharing with her students. Miss Trista creates a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment where dancers feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence, and enjoying every moment of dance.

Outside of the studio, Miss Trista loves spending time with her husband and son, especially traveling together and making magical memories on trips to Disney.

Miss Karmindy has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and began competing at age 8. She started training and competing under Miss Jess in 2021. She loves working at Prestige because it has always felt like home!  Miss Karmindy graduated from Jefferson High School where she was a 4-year member of their Varsity Dance Team. Miss Karmindy is currently on the dance team at Mount Mercy University, studying nursing while also continuing to compete and grow as a dancer! Miss Karmindy is passionate about bringing joy to young children while cultivating an environment for learning and exploration!

Prestige Dance Studio is proud to welcome Alyssa Feller to our team! Originally from northern Illinois, Alyssa brings a wealth of experience in both competitive and collegiate dance. A former four-year member of the Iowa State University Dance Team, she contributed to two NDA Division IA Pom National Championships during her time there. She later served as an assistant coach for the team, helping lead and mentor the next generation of collegiate dancers.

Growing up, Alyssa trained in multiple styles, with lyrical and contemporary being early favorites. However, it was in college that she discovered a passion for Pom technique, which quickly became one of her specialties. Alyssa also recently served as an assistant coach for Mount Mercy University, where she gained valuable insight into the NAIA competitive dance circuit.

After relocating to Cedar Rapids, Alyssa was drawn to Prestige for its strong reputation and high technical standard. “I was impressed with the technical level of the dancers and their full range of dance and tumbling foundation,” she shares. “Prestige seems to provide an unmatched level of instruction in the Cedar Rapids area. The staff provide a technical base and strong strategy for their dancers who are competing on high school dance teams and top collegiate programs.”

Alyssa is excited to lead her own classes at Prestige, in addition to supporting the studio through client experience and marketing efforts. She especially loves watching students master new skills for the first time!

Alyssa lives with her husband and their two children, Kane and Khloe. She’s especially excited as Khloe begins her dance journey at Prestige this year!

Miss Stacey is a member of our fabulous office staff. You can catch her in the studio office almost every day, at every competition and running around with many little dancers that often aren’t her own. Miss Stacey loves the family atmosphere at Prestige Dance Studio and the varying challenges that every day brings. Recital is one of her favorite days of the year! Having danced from the age of 3 through college, and now raising 1 dancer of her own, spending time at the studio brings Stacey back to her roots. Stacey keeps busy with her 5 kiddos and husband, Chad, and splits her (very limited) free time between being a cross country, track and show choir mom, and a competition dance mom.

Even though Miss Vicki's own children are grown, she loves the dance studio atmosphere too much to step away.  Miss Vicki was raised by a ballet loving mother and has appreciated all forms of dance her whole life.  Her most notable role was that of a green bean on the Paramount stage.  She loved being a dance mom to her daughters and is so happy to still be in the studio environment at Prestige.  She is happy to help however she can to make sure your dancer is comfortable and prepared for classes, recital or whatever the day may bring.

Miss Steph loves being a part of the Prestige Family as both a staff member and as a parent. While she was not a dancer, she was a cheerleader, performed in musicals, band and choir/show choir.  Fun fact: she's been asked to sing at Carnegie Hall twice!  She absolutely loves watching her daughter dance and supporting her two boys in their activities as well. Her house is busy with two pups who constantly want attention. Miss Steph jokingly calls herself Mama Steph as she is always willing to lend a hand to our dancers when they need help with a costume, a positive reminder they are amazing, putting their hair up or a listening ear.

Miss Adrienne is also part of the office staff at Prestige Dance Studio. Her responsibilities include tasks in client support, billing and technology. Miss Adrienne's daughter Madelyn introduced her to the world of dance when she joined a studio at the age of 3 in Minnesota. In 2014, they moved to Iowa and found a new dance home at PDS, where her daughter danced for 6 years on the Community and Company Teams. Madelyn was also a teaching assistant at PDS for many years and is continuing her love of dance by being part of the show choir at her high school.  Miss Adrienne also has a son Benny, who enjoys playing baseball and video games. Miss Adrienne has lived in 6 different states (WI, IL, MO, IN, MN, & IA) and she loves 80s music and movies.
