Thanks for explaining why it could be good to dance. I actually didn’t know that this improves your mind because it connects your mind and body to work together. I wonder if you can improve your mind if you dance more often or if it should be done in regular intervals.

In reply to Katie Dunn. That is great! Our adult ballet class is the perfect way to ease into dance. Tap and Hip Hop are a lot of fun but require a bit more cardiovascular strength. Ballet will challenge your body as well but in a much more gentle way. Let us know if you have any other questions and as always, you are welcome to try a class for free!

I’ve been looking for new ways to get fit, and so I really appreciate you mentioning how dance is a form of workout. For someone who isn’t used to so much physical movement, though, what type of dance would be good for me to start out with? I’m hoping to find something that pushes me a little but not too much.

I am glad you talked about respect for everyone involved at the dance studio. I think that is something my daughter needs to learn, and that’s why I’m trying to find a dance studio for her. I’ll talk to her about the importance of respecting everyone she meets at the studio we choose so that she can learn some good things while she is there. Thanks for the great tips!

I like how you mentioned that when it comes to going to dance class that something that needs to be remembered is to respect yourself, friends, and teachers. This is something that I am going to talk to my girls about so that they are able to enjoy dance class, and get everything out of it that they should. Hopefully this will really help them to know what will get them to show respect and be kind to those around them.

My daughter is going to be going to dance classes, so I want to make sure that she knows what to expect. It makes sense that I would want to encourage her to respect her teacher! You don’t learn as much from someone when you don’t respect them, after all.
